Lesser Spotted Woodpecker

Birding further away :

  • Because of its location at the heart of the national motorway network, the English Midlands offers easy access in almost all directions to other parts of the country. In particular, tours can be arranged to premier British birding localities in the eastern counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, to Kent in the south-east or north to Scotland

  • Or, ask us for details of longer birding tours to other parts of the United Kingdom - we will try to customise any tour to meet your own requirements - just let us know what you need.

  • Or, perhaps you just wish to catch up on particular species that you still need for your British list. Just send us a list of the birds you want to see and we will come up with a suggested itinerary to maximise your chances.

  • We can also offer a 'guide-only' service for clients who may wish to drive their own  or a hired vehicle

What are our tours like?

We aim to make our
mainstream tours relaxed, informal and leisurely experiences, with plenty of time to study the birds that we will find. We travel in small groups, (usually  about 12 people), using comfortable mini-buses. For any overnight accommodation we will only use carefully-selected hotels or guest-houses close to the best bird watching sites.

For the more enthusiastic, we can put more ambitious tours together, starting earlier, finishing later and trying to maximise the list of birds seen!
